The big one (burn pile) was my project for today.

And it is probably MUCH smaller than it was this morning. The stuff had been sitting there so long that it was quite thoroughly dried out and burned fairly enthusiastically.

Tomorrow morning I'll rake the remnants together.

Tomorrow afternoon I'll "be in that number."

While I was sitting outside watching the burning I had a VERY affectionate cat on my lap. He is quite the sweety.

I'm limiting his inside time to give CC plenty of time to accept him. He eats on the front porch, she eats in the kitchen.

This afternoon the independent trash hauler stopped by to collect for the next six months. The '94 Jimmy that he got from me is still going strong and looking good.

I think I'll start my "work week" Tuesday, unless the weather forecast is bad.

Another IUD--at least so far, but I don't anticipate any change in the forecast.
