Does the week start with Sunday, as calendars would have you believe, or does it start with Monday--thus ending with Sunday, the so-called seventh day according to the Christian Bible.

At any rate, on this particular first/seventh day, the Saints won resoundingly. They were a little wobbly in the first quarter, but then went on to demolish Tampa Bay. By the start of the fourth quarter most of the fans left were wearing black and gold. (The game was in Tampa Bay.)

And then I caught the end of a game involving the Atlanta Falcons (in the same division as N.O.) which was REALLY close, but ended with a Giants field goal in the sudden death overtime.

Meanwhile, since I had reached a point in Madelyn Alt's The Trouble with Magic that called for finishing the book--I did just that. (I have the next one in that series waiting to be read.)

We had some wetness this morning, but the rest of the day has been good.

Spots is currently in "time-out" because he snarled at CC. Timeout for him consists of being put outside, with the cat door access to inside blocked off. I'll put his food out there, and make ingress (as well as egress) available when I go to bed. He is good in bed--as a cuddler.

And my plans for tomorrow include a work day, unless it is rainy. I haven't decided whether I hope it rains or is clear.
