Let's see--petted the cats, did some house tidying, petted the cats, checked the level of various groceries, petted the cats, then headed out to WalMart.

One of the greeters there is so nice. If there's no motorized cart at her end she phones the other end to see if they have any. Today they did, and the greeter from that end even brought it to me. (Gee, they must hate to drive the little carts around. )

I got the things I needed and then a few things more, and headed home.

The cats will be happy. Usually I get them the WalMart brand of wet food. But today I noticed a big multi-pack of a name brand. I did some quick division and multiplication and realized it was significantly cheaper.

As I cruised through the store I spotted a book titled Foundation by Mercedes Lackey. I like her books. But there is a well-known book by another SF author titled Foundation.

We'll have to see how the Lackey book is. It's supposedly part of some series of hers.

My body insists on certain amounts of sleep each night so I can't just spend my life reading. The other Foundation may well be on the shelves in the "guest" room.

Meanwhile, I'll continue with Kitty's House of Horrors (Carrie Vaughn) which I'm already a quarter of the way through, and then The Demon Redcoat (C. C. Finlay). It follows Patriot Witch and A
Spell for the Revolution
.

The monster cat just made a tentative move toward the card table with the computer on it. I have enough problems with CC wanting to be close. Spots probably weighs three times what she does.

When I leave the room he'll follow me to my next "parking" spot.

He's really a kitten in terms of short span of interest and curiosity about absolutely everything. But he keeps my feet warm at night! And he has not challenged CC for territory.

Tomorrow I think I'll get going early and get my toenails trimmed etc.

Tomorrow's big activity is taking CC to the vet.

How's that for an exciting life!
