It isn't even dark outside, but I don't anticipate anything interesting happening during the rest of today.
The big "event" was makin' groceries this morning. When I got to WalMart the greeter told me a motorized cart was on its way from the other end of the store. She knows her "regulars" and when she saw my car (since it's yellow it's rememberable) and called over to have a cart sent to the grocery end of the store. Needless to say, all the employees were wearing Saints shirts. As were the majority of the customers. I was wearing Saints colors. I'd be broke if I had bought shirts for the division championship, and then the conference. I'm hoping that I'll have to buy a really memorable shirt after next week. At the moment the Saints shirts vastly outnumber the Mardi Gras ones. It was a massively UD. After the groceries were put away I had a bit of a sinking spell. The cats like that. I gave some thought to outside work, but when I put out trash I thought better of it. It's cold and damp. The cats have been quite friendly and cuddly today. Well, even though they have their fur coats they don't like cold and damp outside. Let's remember what Spots was willing to give up so that he could have a warm and dry place to sleep--not to mention regular meals. I figure the coming week will be one where I can think about (and maybe act upon) getting stuff done around the house--both inside and out. That stuff is neverending. However, I need to find the next mind candy book to read. I've got probably a dozen unread ones lying around--it's a matter of which one I feel in the mood for. Oh--and the NFL backed down a bit on claiming that "Who Dat" belonged to them. They were trying to get independent t-shirt vendors to pay royalties for having it on the shirts. One outfit simply showed people how to add it themselves. I think they may have even provided stencils and fabric paint there in the store. The Saints have been around for more than 40 years, and they just now took note of Who Dat? Tomorrow should be a bit nicer than today. I hope so.
