My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

It's not yet time for the game, but once it starts I will be in no mood to leave it.

The vast majority of people at church today wore Saints t-shirts or Saints colors. My Who Dat cane got smiles--and questions as to how I'd done it.

The closing hymn was "For All the Saints."

The three UU churches in the Greater New Orleans area share two ministers. Today we had Rev. Melanie. She has a blog, and from that I learned she and her husband are (of course) Saints fans. Next season I shall share at least one pair of tickets I don't use with them. She liked that idea.

When I got home I read the Sunday paper, ate something, then had about an hour-long "sinking spell."

And now I'm ready to root for the black and gold.

Who Dat? Who Dat? Who dat say they gonna beat dem Saints?
