(I decided to be gender neutral in the title.)
Last night rain was very clearly on the way--and lots of it. (Either I slept through it or it had greatly abated by the time it passed over.) Aha! I can sleep in a bit. It was gloomy this morning, but not wet. And as the day went by things improved. I think I even saw the sun out for a bit. The temperature was on the "brisk" side for this part of the country, but there was no precipitation. At any rate, I stayed home and did "stuff" around the house. Tomorrow I'll go in to work. And with my luck the rain threat that was over us most of today will have been replaced by a real one. C'est la vie. I did go out, but briefly. I had called in a couple of prescription renewals a couple of days ago, and finally remembered to pick them up. (I really like the drive-up window at the pharmacy.) And, as long as I was out, I stopped at Subway to pick up some supper. I think I already mentioned how much I like their sandwiches on flatbread. I hope that's a long-term change. Other than that, it was definitely an IUD. Weather was mostly cloudy and chilly. The forecast for tomorrow does not have "wet" words in it, and I'm planning on going in. That means somewhat earlier to bed tonight. I'll most likely have a large black cat curled up against me. He seems to have decided that I am his nighttime bed. My "theory" is that having a cat curled up against you results in some type of brain wave amplification of the sleep waves. Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
