Not much to do outside the home area when the car is in the car hospital.

I think the height of my activity today was walking up to the street to shoot the breeze with the parish workers involved in ditch cleaning.

They seem to be a lot more careful when a resident is around, especially one who chats pleasantly while making snide remarks about how there is almost no shoulder left--and it's not THEIR fault. I've noticed they've become a bit more careful by my lot since I became friendly.

No word from the car guy, so I assume that tomorrow will also be "vacation" for me. If I really need to go somewhere I can always call a cab. It's not all that cheap, but it postpones both human and feline starvation. And it's not something I do on a regular basis.

Although it threatened, it didn't rain (at least significantly) today. For the most part, the cats stayed inside. CC and Spots are definitely becoming friends.

Weather-wise, tomorrow is expected to be a repeat of today.

oh goody
