First, I slept really well, for a change and woke up somewhere between 8 and 9.
I did some household stuff, then read the paper and the mail. During lunch I sort of got caught up in the latest Eve Dallas mystery. Somewhere in the middle of that my neighbor came over with a couple of goodies from their Hawaiian vacation. We chatted for more than an hour and got each other caught up on animals etc. While Janice (pet-sitter) was tending their menagerie, she managed to catch Stripe. And now Stripe has the little nip out of his ear, and no more rear-end "swellings." Eventually the "message" may get around among the semi-feral cats and dogs in the area that something happened and they can't remember why they used to go hunting for females. My primary toilet clogged up again. I put what was left of the Drano into it, and hope it loosens things up. Meanwhile I'll use the other one. I'm trying to remember if we own a snake. If we do, it will be somewhere in the garage, where the lights no longer work. That's probably due to burned out bulbs. I'm not about to do the acrobatics needed to replace them. They're long fluorescent tubes, and one needs to be on a ladder for the changing part. Of course, I COULD take a large flashlight in there to look. Meanwhile I'll use the half-bath toilet and get more Drano tomorrow at WalMart. So, once again and IUD. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
