Dull Day

I wasn't in the mood to do too much of anything excessively energetic today, so I didn't.

I did, however, get some indoor tidying and vacuuming done, for what that's worth. The other inhabitants consider dust bunnies a special treat to chase down the hall.

I called the auto place, described my problem (and guess at the cause) and about half an hour ago the guy was knocking at my door. He drove off and I sincerely hope that the car was difficult for him also.

Tomorrow will be another at home day, and maybe I'll feel "inspired" to do some outdoor stuff. Or maybe some more indoor stuff.

My body hasn't adapted to the time change yet. It was really dark Tuesday morning when I went in to work. Stopping at McD I seemed to notice the darkness more.

It is almost time for the Jazz and Heritage Festival. That is absolute nirvana for jazz and folk music fans. (It's also a time to eat all sorts of local food specialities.)

I haven't quite finished the Nora Roberts book. I'm almost there, but I think I fell asleep before I reached the end. I'll take care of that this evening. And then go back to Eight for Eternity.

The fuzzy creatures came into the room when I did, checked out the treat dishes, but they have gone off somewhere now. Guess they want to hang out with their hairless-tailed friends, and the masked group also. I've put out the treats so it shouldn't be too long before they come by.

And now back to reading.

Can't recall what the weather forecast for tomorrow is, but if it's like today I think I'll do a bit more on the weeding front.

The azaleas I planted on the little triangle across the street (and which got mowed down by overenthusiastic workers after Katrina) have sent up new growth--and there are blooms on said growth. That's an incentive to get some of the dead stuff out of the way.

Yet another IUD.
