My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

Caught up on the sleep!

YD and family took me to lunch today. (Technically, we met at a restaurant somewhere between where we live.)

The food was magnificent (as usual). Their generous servings means that I have enough left over for (probably) two meals.

I really enjoyed the chance for casual chat and getting to know my grandchild a bit better. Anna starts first grade in the fall and is already reading some. And I should mention that she has excellent eating-out manners.

YD showed me a picture of the German Mark of the Demon cover.

When I got back home I read the Sunday paper and then had a LONG sinking spell. I just hope it wears off enough that I can get to sleep at a reasonable hour tonight.

So---not much got done around the house, but then isn't Sunday supposed to be a day of rest?
