I finished typing up the inventory of the collection I've been working on for seemingly forever. My goal was to not just say "Cards and Letters from 1996" (or whenever) but to list from whom the cards and letters were.

This way, someone researching one of these other people gets led to this collection.

I e-mailed the archivist, with the inventories as attachments. I don't plan on going in tomorrow, but at least she has been warned that I'm just about ready for another collection.

It's good to have a reason to get up in the morning,

Today was a really lovely day. Bright and sunny, but not yet excessively warm.

CC has been spending a lot of time on her scratching couch, which I laced with organic catnip yesterday. And Spots has been spending some time on the piece of carpet that also got "dusted."

The wild cherry trees are dropping their blossoms and it looks almost like snow beneath them. Let's see--there was the azalea bloom, and then the cherry trees. I don't think there's anything outstanding for continued blooms in the no-care plant system. At least not in my yard.

Oh but it does feel good to have those expletive inventories typed up! (However, that was a good procrastination tool.)

My only big decision at the moment is which book to start on. I probably have at least half a dozen choices.
