My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

And I am glad I see the doc again on Wednesday. As I said before--it's a real pain in the butt.

It rained today, right after lunch. And the power went off. I took a short nap, then decided it was a good time to use Other People's Power (hereafter OPP) and got stuff together for an early supper (or a late lunch--in other words "lupper") at Arby's. As I drove down my street I saw at least three CLECO (Central Louisiana Electric Company) trucks doing "stuff" to power poles and the wires between them.

Once in town I saw a bunch more trucks.

And I learned today that the road in front of the library where I do the archival work is being torn up and redone. There goes my nice, close parking spot--my "reward" for getting there early. Looks like I'm sort of on a "leave" till they get the road repaired.

And now I need to get the critter food out.
