My finger slipped and I almost titled this Part 3, which would have left people wondering what happened to part 2--maybe I was on strike against even numbers?
It was a generally blah day. The cats did their cat things (sleeping for CC and guarding the house from the driveway for Spots) and I did this and that. In the late afternoon I headed out for an Arby's supper, planning to stop at Walgreen's on the way home for some more flea spray. (It's that time of year.) But it started raining. Fortunately I keep an umbrella in my purse and so I didn't get wet going to the car. I decided the fleas could have a day's reprieve and skipped the Walgreen's stop. By the time I got home it had pretty much stopped raining--either that or it hadn't rained here at all. For the second time today I startled a Siamese cat that was perched in the tree right by the garage. It's probably my neighbor's cat. They have a bunch, including at least one that got caught (and neutered) via the same program that took care of Spots. The rain has upped the humidity, but it has also cooled things off nicely. It should be good sleeping tonight. Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
