I had such a time getting to sleep last night that I slept rather late this morning.

This, however, gave me an excellent excuse for avoiding yard work--too hot.

I did get some stuff done inside, however, before I decided that it was late enough in the afternoon to have lupper at Arby's.

I've gotten fairly well "into" the Sherri Tepper book, and I don't think I'll have too much trouble staying up too late reading it this evening.

It has not rained today--therefore it is hot. Of course, if it had rained it wouldn't be as hot, but the humidity would negate the temperature differential.

You just can't win.

Except, however, on the reading front. Sherri Tepper, here I come.
