. . . today must be Friday.
And it was an incredibly unremarkable Friday. I got some stuff done around the house, then sat on the porch for a few minutes. In nothing flat (almost) there were several adorable little masked faces looking pleadingly at me. So I got the cat kibble and portioned it out. Result: a bunch of happy little raccoons. Mama raccoon gave me a look of gratitude. Once the critter collection had been fed I headed for Arby's for an extended meal. I am finally nearing the end of Sherry Tepper book. Once finished, I'll mail it off to California. The temperatures have gone down a bit over the past couple of days. More clouds help with that. But the temps are still high enough to be an excuse for postponing outdoor work. I haven't had the TV on today, so I don't know if the world will be falling apart in the near future. I haven't even really checked to see what tonight's TV drivel will be. It doesn't really matter much, because I plan on finishing the book tonight. Life here is just one brilliantly exciting day after another. Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
