Worked on some household stuff for a bunch of today. It never ends.

Still hot, but not quite as hot as yesterday. The weather radar offers the hope of some evening showers.

I went off to PJ's for a bit this afternoon, and I stopped at WalMart on the way home.

When I got home I was greeted by several hungry four-footed friends. Little Mama was especially anxious--she and her kids had polished off the stuff I put out earlier. Judging from the size of her teats she's still feeding them,, at least part time.

I tossed some dog biscuits onto the patio on my way in, then got the kibble to put out on the porch. She came within about a foot of me, but stopped at a warning tone in my voice (and probably my body language.) I do hope she doesn't go trusting all humans. She was followed onto the porch by one of her children and she let him(?) know that she had first crack at the kibble.

I just looked outside, and it is quite dark. It's only 19:08, so I suspect that there's a bunch of cloud cover. In fact, I hear the clouds "talking" now.

That should make for good sleeping tonight.

As I said, another Iud.
