My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

The big topic for local conversation shows today was, of course, the Saints debacle.

It was somewhat eclipsed by the injury a member of the chain gang suffered yesterday when he got plowed into by a couple of players. He's in the hospital and doing okay. (I doubt he'll have any deductibles to pay!) Officials do not use protective gear.

Other than that, I'm having a hard time with it being Monday. But going back into work this week, and establishing a sort-of routine there, will help me keep track of the day of the week.

Today must have had a bit more humidity than the last few--I feel somewhat sweaty. This evening's shower will feel good.

I need to get started on another book--something to read on lunch break. And also decide whether it will be a geek book or mind candy. (I think the latter will win out.)

Tomorrow will be (I hope) the return of a semblance of routine in my (incredibly unremarkable) life.
