Other than a visit to the bank to talk about the debit card that seems to have evaporated.

It's been several days since I've seen (or missed) my debit card, and after first checking to see whether someone else "found" it, I headed for the bank.

The last use was gas at the Shell station. And I don't recall putting it away, but left it on the seat of the car.

Not in the car, although it could still be hiding somewhere.

There has been no use of it, so if it was found by someone, they were honest.

Anyway, it had my picture on it.

The bank employee checked it out, and verified that it did seem to have disappeared.

At any rate, she cancelled it and I've been issued a new one. Unfortunately, it does not have my picture on it.

She also looked at my balances, and put me on a different checking plan (they have a zillion) which includes a free safe deposit box. Oh boy--a $15 (or so) savings per year.

And in between we chatted. I guess it's those years as a Senior Girl Scout leader (adviser) that gets me to talking about career paths and such.

On the way home there was a dire emergency stop at Walgreen's for TP.

And home again, home again jiggety jog.

I'm still wondering what happened to the credit card. I'll probably run across it tomorrow--that's the way things tend to go.
