And it felt good.

Of course, first I had to get there.

The first "snarl" came as I was about to turn down the Ritzy Mansion street, which leads (ultimately) to where I want to go.

No--not today. Big signs all over saying No Thru Traffic (unless you live here.)

Okay--I went to the next street going that way. I even remembered what street to turn left on.

Except that was a glorious mess too.

I finally got where I wanted to go, parked right in front of the building, and headed inside.

Got a lot done on the collection and am now all "rarin' to go." I even had a chance to talk with the archivist--she too had arrived early.

My drive home was what was usual for the afternoon--relatively heavy traffic, but no tie-ups.

My cats let me know they were glad to see me--after all, I'm the source of All Good Food.

A raccoon gave me a dirty look because it was a bit later than the last week or so and it was anxious for the raccoon chow that is usually out earlier than it was today.

If the weather is as gorgeous tomorrow as it was today I'll probably stay home for the opportunity to get outside stuff tidied up.

I dozed off during the evening news, but I guess the world still turns. They'd probably interrupt regular programming if it wasn't.

(Have you ever noticed that commercials don't seem to EVER be interrupted?)

Back to the mindless TV.
