. . . tomorrow is the "big" day.
I was at WalMart about suppertime, looking for some things for Anna per parental suggestions. (The older grands will get checks in the mail. At least I'll know by the endorsement that they received the gifts.) It was rather pleasant (at W-M) and most everyone was in a fairly good mood, including (and especially) the staff. The number of cops hired for extra security had about doubled. Both cats are in the room with me--one of them in petting distance. The other one is asleep. It was a good day on a couple of fronts. My trash had disappeared--an encouraging sign. And my lovely next door neighbor came over with a plate of fresh-baked cookies. We chatted for a while, then she headed back home. Weather forecast for tomorrow does not include rain--goody. A pleasant holiday to you readers. Tomorrow I'll wrap up the things for Anna, then head over there. One of the gifts is a really cool plastic tractor. I can't remember what the other things are, but they are more traditional--like a purse.
