I debated going in to work today and staying home Friday, but decided that some household stuff needed tending.

So tomorrow will be a work day--not that today wasn't, but it's a different kind of work.

I didn't get all that much done, but I do feel more rested than if I'd had the N.O. drive.

I was outside the house for some reason this afternoon, and my neighbor spotted me and came over to chat. Even though I liked the woods when they were there, my neighbor is really great.

We (of course) talked about our respective menageries--both planned and "accidental."

The critters (raccoons and possums) sometimes go over there to check things out, but the dogs tend to discourage that activity. The cats don't seem to mind, just as mine don't. (They have both dogs and cats--at least two of each.)

So it has been another IUD, but reasonably pleasant and restful.
