(Just had to persuade the cat (CC) to move a bit so that her tail was no longer within reach of the keyboard.)

Work day today, and I got a fair amount done.

Everybody seemed to be in a good mood, but then it's Friday.

I must be living right, because there were no (significant) slowdowns on my drive in OR my drive home.

The cats (of course) were glad to see me. They know that my hands can open cat food cans--a feat which is beyond their paws or teeth.

The weather report has nothing but sunshine predicted for the weekend. (Drat--there's goes a good excuse for procrastination on outdoor work.)

I probably won't go in to work till at least Tuesday--I got the last parking pass the office had. The secretary knows, but I'd hate for her to not restock on Monday.

I managed to miss the news (a minor sinking spell), but I think the world is still turning.

Definitely a good day.
