I managed to wake up bright and early, and there were no humongous traffic snarls between home and work. I was there in plenty of time to get a prime parking spot.

It was a productive day, and I headed back home about threeish. I needed a couple of things from Walgreen's, and decided to stop at one in New Orleans that was on my route home.

The drive home was uneventful.

I'm still trying to figure just what the highway department is doing with the section of I-10 that goes through sort of swampy areas. I suspect that it has a lot to do with levees that are being raised.

Oh well--eventually it will be done. (probably)

The various critters seemed glad to see me back home--especially the large black furry one with the white spots on his chest and below the belly button. (Do cats even have them? They must, for in utero nutrition.)

I haven't decided whether to go in again tomorrow, or wait till Thursday or Friday.

The vet called today to remind me that CC is due for her annual shots.

Catching a cat and getting it into a crate is not my idea of fun, and I have very clever cats. (At least I stay up to date on tetanus immunization.)

So - - - basically, an IUD, but a pleasant one.
