Except that my computer and I just had a "discussion" about operating.

It didn't want me to go online. OR do much of anything else.

Sooooo . . . I fell back on Repair Method One.

The first step in this is to crawl under the table and access the big multi-plug that holds all the relevant power cords.

Step two is to remove and replace each plug, one at a time.

Step three is to try again.

So far, so good--at least this time.

(That should be pretty obvious--if it hadn't worked I'd have been talking about using the laptop.)

I even managed to get myself up off the floor and back in my usual seat without too much grunting and groaning.

So--what else might have been remotely worthy of note today?

Not much. I let myself sleep in, then did some minor this and that in the house.

A glance at the critter food level sent me off to WalMart. Friday afternoon isn't the greatest time to shop there, but I must have hit it just right--all the mamas heading back home to greet their little darlings.

I'm pretty sure I got the stuff I really wanted/needed. I hope so.

My driveway (about 100 ft. long) azaleas are working their way up to full bloom.

These were planted probably thirty years ago, and are six feet or so tall. They did really well in their early years when I faithfully fertilized each spring. And they are still pretty impressive when they're in bloom.

I also planted some on the parish property across the street, and they definitely add a bit of color. The parish workers know they are there, and who planted them, and they don't get mowed down.

One of these days when I am really bored I need to do some weeding there, especially on the triangular tip where we don't want plants blocking the view of any oncoming cars.

So, today was pretty much of a nothing day. However, I need to have a "productive" weekend. The weather forecast suggests that the weather will cooperate.

And my IUL continues.
