Okay--for news and information about the Mississippi River go to wwltv.com. It's got a fairly extensive report about what, if, and when.
Other than that, it was an IUD. I got to WalMart early to replenish the critter food and then headed back home. My body suggested a bit of relaxation, which lasted close to an hour. I looked at the stack of "read" papers and put them in a couple of tote bags, then went back to the (dead) pool and tossed them all in. Eventually they disintegrate in there. Another 50 years or so and the pool will be filled in with old melted newspapers. Naturally, I kept an eye/ear out for telecasts relating to the Mississippi and its relatives. The technicalities of flood control etc. are fascinating. All the assorted crritters have been fed, although the raccoons and possums hadn't come by yet when I moved to the back room with the computer. The food will wait. The cats are pretty much "full" from their wet cat food so they are not (yet) snacking on the dry stuff. So far, at least, and IUD. Read/Post Comments (6) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
