I was about half done with an entry about my incredibly unremarkable day, when a certain handsome black cat managed to hit a key that wiped it out totally.
So now I try again. I think he picked up on my tone of voice and has moved to the top of the printer--well out of range of the keyboard. It was pleasantly cool for most of the day, and in the late afternoon some gentle rain began. Fortunately, it waited until I had gotten back from some minor erranding. But tonight should be really good sleeping. It was a really quiet day, except for one phone call from someone at church. I had put in a special birthday offering to go to youth stuff, and she wanted some clarification about its use. And then of course we talked about other stuff. Because it is expected to be at least somewhat wet tomorrow I'll pass on going in to Newcomb. Common sense says stay home when walking might be iffy. A cane can get a mind of its own when it's wet outside. And since I don't plan to go in to New Orleans tomorrow, I can stay up late watching junk TV without having to worry about an early alarm. And a certain cat is getting closer to me again, so I'd better quit while I am ahead. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
