Definitely a ho-hum day.

In the morning a woman from the subdivision between me and the highway came by to pick up a meat/vegetable/whatever grinder.

She had put a "seek" on the local freecycle site, and since I had two of them, she got one.

The rest of the day was quiet, and I managed to get in a bit of a nap.

Weather has stayed in the 80s the last couple of days, and the (relative) coolness is nice.

Because this "coolness" carries with it the price of rain, there are some disadvantages, but I'll take wet and cool (relatively) over hot and dry any day.

The wetness of this morning took care of the decision of whether to go in to work or not. It's a definite no whwen it's raining.

Next week's weather looks drier so I should be able to get in two or three days.

My assorted critters continue to come regularly to the cafeteria. The early raccoon (comes by itself way ahead of the others) poked its head through the hole in the screen that serves as a door for him and gave me a look of "where is the food?" No problem, I'd already brought it out onto the porch. He(?) watched as I poured it into a dish, then carefully pushed the dish (with my cane) close to the screen opening. He was not the least bit disturbed when I walked back inside the house--being sure to close the screen door behind me. His dinner was there and he was enjoying it.

And so much for yet another IUD.
