And I don't think there's much of a chance for rain.

CC has apparently forgiven me for the vet visit. Yesterday, once we got home, she wouldn't come near me, and speent most of her time outside, and out of sight.

This afternoon she reappeared though, and is back to wanting petting.

I wonder if the lack of ready food in the great outdoors had anything to do with it.

For me, it was an IUD. I ran a couple of minor errands, but spent most of my time inside, reading and watching
TV (sort of).

And it doesn't look there will be any cooling showers this evening.

Showers are a mixed blessing--they knock down the temperature, but raise the humidity.

You can't win them all.
