I managed to get in to work and, once there, made some progress in the collection processing.

In other words, next time I'm at work I need to make the lists of carton contents. And make sure the folders are acid-free and properly labelled.

I list the contents as I go, so by the time I'm finished I'll have about half a dozen inventories to type up. And I do that at home--it's easier than trying to cope with an Apple. I cut my computer teeth on a PC and my fingers know where each function key is.

The traffic deities were on my side today for the commutes--no tie-ups or even slowdowns, with the exception of one on the way home where they had all three lanes closed down while they painted a crosswalk. This was at a bit after 3 PM. and said street has THREE schools on it, which tend to add to the traffic.

My reward was no slowdown at all on the rest of the drive home.

According to my calendar, tomorrow will be Satruday, and I've been a real sloth this week at home. I should probably do some tidying/cleaning up around here--not that anybody except my cats and I see it.

Onward to the weekend!

(Sorry about the private entry designation--I didn't pay enough attention when I was writing it. And the cat was trying to "help.")
