Well, the Saints lost yesterday, and to top things off, their coach ended up with a broken leg when an opponent lineman crashed into where he was on the sidelines.

Payton (the coach) had surgery today and is probably driving everybody in the hospital nuts. I think they said he's going home tomorrow or the next day.

On another topic--I just noticed that Temptations cat treats include a calorie count on the package--right next to the ingredients and the claim to tartar control.


My Monday started with a dr. appointment. The one a week or so ago got cut short because earlier appointments were running long.

Today's was at 9 AM--the start of the patient day.

I discovered that apparently there was something going on somewhere in the building that brought about 15 or more cars eligible to park in the handicapped spots. If I am ever inclined to take a first-in-the-morning appointment I shall think about the parking situation.

And now I remember that I forgot to get gas, which I need to do before going into New Orleans--which I had planned on doing tomorrow.

At least I've discovered that there is a 24 hr. station on the "into New Orleans" side of the road.

So--another IUD about gone.
