I went in to work today and saw none of the students looking Halloweenish.

Definitely no one in anything resembling a costume.

Of course, college students at "standard age" (expensive) liberal arts colleges are not generally known for their "dress for success" go-to-class wardrobes.

My day feels like it was productive, even with a bit of chit-chat with a very nice lady who is probably over 60.

Both halves of my commute were basically without any incidents involving idiotic drivers. And somehow there were no stop-and-slow segments of the commute.

I haven't decided where tomorrow will be--at home, or at work. Probably the former, expecially if the weather is halfway decent. There are some areas of the yard that could use a bit of attention. And this is probably a good time to trim back dead branches on low trees and bushes.

I'll have to see what my mood is in the morning.
