2011-11-13 6:03 PM Frustration Read/Post Comments (5) |
I went to start this entry and nothing happened.
I checked all the plug-ins and they all seemed just fine. Okay--next step was to unearth my laptop. But just to check I tried again to get a connection. This time it worked. But there was a LOT of frustration when I thought the desk-top was not going to work. For starters--it would most likely mean staying home tomorrow. I leave for work before 7 AM. and I don't think the computer guy would appreciate a call at that hour. So I went to check on the ends of the various football games, then came back to the bedroom/study to try again. And--obviously it worked. Thank goodness. So now I can proceed with my plans to go in to work tomorrow. Today the three UU congregations had a single service, focussing on music. Only problem was that it was held (of course) at the largest church building. And that is in New Orleans. And I had things (mostly little stuff) that needed doing at home. I hope the rest of the week is a lot less frustrating than the first part of today. My stomach has just reminded me that I was so tied up in (stupid) other stuff that I haven't really eaten since morning. I think I have a slightly stale salad in the fridge--that's sounding pretty good. Read/Post Comments (5) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
