Once I got into the city I had a fairly good day.

No problems with a parking spot, except that I forget something and had to walk back to the car, then return to the building I work in.

I got a fair amount accomplished work-wise, and had an uneventful drive home.

But- - -

I hadn't even gotten out of Slidell this morning when I had a bit of a snag.

I swung thru McDonald's and ordered my usual sausage muffin and senior coffee.

I got to the pay window and was informed that they didn't do senior coffee any more.

What????

I gave up on McDonald's and headed in to work foodless. (No other fast fooderies along my route--which is mostly interstate.)

When I got home this evening I called the store to complain. I'm sure the person will deny ever saying anything like that.

I don't think I'm going in tomorrow--too much stuff to do around the house. And anyway I had a fairly productive day work-wise today.
