I had a paragraph written, but then there were sirens from down the road, and as they got a bit closer the cats took a couple of flying leaps--one of which erased what I'd already typed.

The sirening vehicles evidently turned off my road and went through/into the subdivision whose main road takes one to the "highway" that goes to the big shopping area.

Whatever.

My big event today was two-fold.

First was a visit to the blood bank, where I donated a bunch of platelets. That's a couple of hours of reading time.

By the time I finished there it was time to eat, so I headed down the road and got stuff from Arby's.

And on the way home I swung by a Good Will store and left three bags of mostly new tee shirts--many of which advertised the Blood Center on their backs. The fronts have clever designs, so if you wear a jacket the part that says Blood Center is hidden.

The designs for the Blood Center are usually clever and rather cute.

And I see by the clock that it is getting close to the time for Monday Night Football. And it's the Saints hosting tonight's game.

Won't be long before yet another IUD has gone by.
