The title should be no surprise, since yesterday was Monday.

Another at-home day, in which the furthest I ventured from the house was the approximately 150 feet to the mail and paper boxes.

However, when I dragged the trash container out to the front (pick-up was today) I ran into my neighbor. And, of course, we chatted. Obviously, they are back from vacation.

And have been for several days, apparently. The dogs are not barking and it is really nice to have quiet in my "office"--makes it easier to think.

I did a bunch of this and that today but didn't get to the typing of the Newcomb stuff. That will be later this evening and tomorrow. Once that's done I'll go back into N.O. and get the freshly typed inventories into the appropriate boxes and cartons.

My current goal is to have this particular collection complete by Christmas Break. (I'll have to double check the calendar to see when that is.)

When I go in I'll check with the librarian to see when (or if) they will have hours over the holidays.

Weather here has warmed up somewhat--it was in the mid 60s most of today. That's nice weather.

A White Christmas is extremely low on the probability list--we haven't had any significant (stays on the ground longer than a day) snow in quite a while.

Now for the typing of the inventory--or at least a start on it.
