Well, the weather managed to dry up enough for Endymion to roll this evening. The TV coverage was great, as was the crowd turnout.

Around here, crowd turnout is "measured" by tons of trash picked up.

The cameras followed the parade into the Superdome (or should I use its "new" name: Mercedes Benz Superdome?)and now they are all partying and dancing.

And there will be major street parades and huge parties in the Superdome till midnight of Fat Tuesday.

The parade itself took about an hour to pass any given point.

Needless to say, I will not be going in to Newcomb (even if it is open) till after Fat Tuesday.

So, another IUD is about over.
