My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

(This is my second try. I had almost finished a short note and the cat's tail attacked and erased what I'd written.)

I am quite sure that when I turn on the TV (it's 10 AM Central Time) I'll find out that this afternoon's parades have been postponed, and probably also the evening ones.

What a mess! I can't recall any time in my past (when I've lived in the N.O. area) that there has been such weather for Carnival.

I'm sure the hotel bars will be doing a big business, but that's about all.

Just think of all the visitors who have kids with them!

Let's see--if I was a hotel manager I'd have already stripped the movie rental places clean of G-rated movies.

Time to see just what various plans are re: the weather.
