I just realized that it's dark outside--and it doesn't feel like enough time has passed for that to be the case.

I have, however, fed the cats and critters. As usual, they were very grateful

And I got all sorts of Little Stuff done today. Tomorrow I'm going to try to make it to a nursery for some plants to fill in a couple of gaps.

This evening, however, will be my weekly money-matters night.

So many bills are auto-deducted nowadays that I write a lot fewer checks. And (of course) income checks are auto-deposited.

But eventually the day comes when I need to get all this stuff into the ledger for the appropriate checking account.


There IS a bright spot--it's only Thursday. For some reason it feels like Friday, so I'm glad to learn that it's not. I think it will be easier to shop at a nursery on a weekday--which I shall do tomorrow unless it rains.

Next week it will be back to work. Spring Break is over at Tulane in a couple of days, so things will be picking up on the academic front.

It's dark outside--I'm overdue on eating supper. Where did the day go?
