Now that's something to really look forward to--NOT.

Teeth are fine, and freshly cleaned. No little spots to watch, or anything else.

I got caught up on all the news from his hygienist (she's been with him for years and years.) Her kids are in late high school and/or college now.

And on the way out I chatted with his "secretary/office manager/accountant" aka wife. Dang--when did their hair all turn visibly gray? Mine is still in the "few strands" mode--and I'm older than all of them.

(I also have VERY good hair genes. Neither my mother nor my father ever got totally gray. One of my daughters seems to have gotten her father's hair, which started graying when he was in his forties or thereabouts. As she said--that's why there are colorists. I seldom see the other daughter, so I don't know about her hair.)

The dentist took up most of the morning, and then I snuck in a bit of a sinking spell.

And that's today--unless the evening is incredibly unusual and something happens.
