The only slightly remote consolation is that sweat has a certain amount of weight.

And I guess it cleans the pores.


The thermometer by my side (regular) door reads 110. That's Fahrenheit, but it feels like Celsius. The patio cover really traps the heat. The one on the front porch says about 108, but it's got a wood ceiling and better air circulation.

When I finish with the computer stuff I do believe I shall take myself (and a book) to a fast foodery and chill out (literally) a bit while I "dine."

After I change into dry clothes.

Needless to say, the cats have not been basking in the sun this afternoon. Spots usually parks himself under a shady bush near a sunny spot.

If it's still hellfire hot when bedtime comes, I'lll just sleep on the double papasan in the computer room, and take advantage of the room air-conditioner.

Meanwhile, the cats are taking advantage of the many bushes etc. and the relatively cool earth. Under the house is popular in this weather.

But now it's time for supper.
