Hot again, but then it is July, and I'm in the Northern Hemisphere.

So far no 4th of July noises in the neighborhood.

Oops--just heard one. And I expect that once it is dark my sort-of-across-the-street neighbor and his clan will be celebrating. They really go all out.

But I'm wondering if fireworks are losing popularity--I don't think I've seen as many fireworks stands as in the past.

On the other hand, New Year's Eve is the really big time for the fireworks.

Today was definitely on the warm side. I went to Arby's for supper and took along a book. I may very well stay up too late to finish it--or at least get further along.

Or, I will have a massive sinking spell when I am (more or less) watching TV--and reading.

But today has definitely been an IUD.
