My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

Either the temperature has dropped, or the humidity has dropped, or both.

Today has felt quite nice.

And that's a far cry from last week, when it seemed that I was covered with non-stop sweat.

(Excuse me--covered with glow. Horses sweat, gentlemen perspire, ladies glow--according to my mother and her ancestors.)

In between doing assorted nothings today I got in a recuperative nap.

The cats seem to have about as much energy as I do at the moment. And the raccoons seem equally "relaxed."

Well, what do you expect in August in the Deep South?
