2005-03-03 11:31 AM Novels and Smut Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (12) Things, they are in motion! Just heard from my editor (the brilliant Juliet Ulman). She's sending the sketch of the cover art for Rangergirl to me (the final painting isn't done, but I can get the gist. It sounds like it's going to be very cool). They're sending the cover copy for me to look over one last time, and she's also sending her final run-through of the manuscript. She says all my big rewrites were good, so now it's just a case of cleaning up the prose here and there, clarifying or expanding a few points, etc. This is the equivalent of decorative work rather than construction, and believe me, decorative work is a lot easier. I heard from an editor that a local independent porn filmmaker read one of my pseudonymous smut pieces and thinks it would make a great short porn film, because it actually has a plot and subverts some traditional porn notions.
