Happy Thanksgiving, etc. I am thankful for many people, places, things, and ideas. They know who, where, and what they are.

I'm cooking a turkey later (well, a turkey breast, anyway). We'll do mashed potatoes, stuffing, and gravy, and will probably come up with some kind of pear-apple tart for dessert. Also: pumpkin ale, and movies to watch on DVD. Life, she is good. I'm glad I get to spend the next four days in a row with my lovely wife Heather.

Speaking of my wife, she continues to display her editorial prowess. In her capacity as editor for Fishnet she just acquired a wonderful story by Nick Mamatas and Daphne Gottlieb (two of my favorite writers, and people!). It's called Low Resolution and it's great, beautifully written and disturbing and funny in bits.

It's nine in the morning. Time to put some coffee on and then get to writing. A NaNoWriHoWe update will appear later tonight. Wish me luck.
