It's good to be home. Three weeks is exactly the right amount of time to visit Oklahoma; long enough that I can do and see what I want without having to rush around, short enough that I don't go crazy. And for once my flight back had no major delays, so I wasn't a shivering, starving wreck by the time I got to my apartment.

My new roommate, Shasta, picked me up at the airport. I think we are going to get along well, and it will be fun working with her on fixing up our living spaces. It's also fun to be the person who knows things going into the school year instead of the person whose head is spinning from culture shock.

I may stick in snippets of detail from my vacation here and there the next week or so, but I need to unpack, so no more blogging for right now. Just wanted to let all interested parties know I made it home safely.
