Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (1) As a church-going Christian -- TMQ was in this church on Sunday -- I find it deeply embarrassing when Christianity is associated, in the public eye, with hucksters like Moore. I find it embarrassing, too, when Christians supporting Moore's hunk of stone suggest that a big object in a public square is what matters, rather than the power of God's message itself. Anyone who needs to look at a big object in order to believe, doesn't really believe. Tuesday Morning Quarterback on ESPN.com is one of my favorite columns, because it mixes current events and pop culture with pretty darn sensible sports commentary. I often do not agree with TMQ on issues in any of these catergories but since he always has a rational argument to back up his views, I respect his difference of opinion. In this case, however, it is as if he is reading my mind. I know, I said I wasn't going to blog anymore today. Obviously I lied. But I may have to stop soon because I'm starting to get hungry.
