2004-01-21 10:16 PM Honestly, I'd do a sports entry today but Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (1) I'm super busy, now that classes have started again. (Writing assignments that must be worked on this week: a rewrite of a crucial chapter in my thesis, a rewrite of some old story to hand in as conference material, the new story I have to turn in for workshop in two weeks, AND the 2-5 page experiment in point of view assigned for workshop next week.) So this has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the fact that the OU men's basketball team, for the last two weeks has been horribly PUTRID. Or that the girls got upset by Iowa State last night.
I wouldn't do an entry at all today-- I actually got on only to print off an article I'm using as research for my new story -- but in skimming my email and my bro's Xanga updates, I notice that he's been getting random comments from all kinds of people lately. I think this has something to do with the political rant he published Monday, and perhaps the fact that his political comments are, to put it nicely, somewhat to the right of my own, may also be the product. But come on! I publish political stuff all the time (and I publish all the time, whereas this is the first time he's written a new entry since, like, October) and I hardly ever get random readers to comment on my stuff. (Jac and Meesh, you guys don't count, because I know you.) Geez, even on my blog nobody reads my stuff. Oh, the torment of being an unknown writer.
