Last night I just goofed off and watched TV, but actually I've been very productive in the last several days. When I haven't been writing or doing the reading for class, I've been working on a number of decorating projects for our dining room. We have only folding chairs in there, so I have been making seat cushions and decorative sleeves to cover the backs. They still look like folding chairs, but now they look like cute folding chairs that match the new tablecloth.

I'm a little worried about my brother, who sounds like he's going through major mother-in-law issues with his June wedding. (You can read all about it here[link disabled].) He's very sweet for saying only that Chaunna (his fiancee) doesn't need this stress, but truthfully, he's the one who's trying to finish his last semester of classes and find a job while all this is going on. I'd say he doesn't need the stress either. Thank God my mother, whatever other ways she might be annoying to my future husband, will not be one of those wedding obsessed mothers who has to have everything a certain way. Of course, I'm such a control freak myself, I probably would be the one driving everyone crazy. It just makes me realize how much I'm not ready to get married at this point in my life.
