I just got on to order my ballet ticket (for the student prices you have to order them on the day of the performance) and now the website says there aren't any available for this evening. Either a lot of students wanted tickets in the last thirty minutes or (which is more likely) a bunch of last minute Valentine's Day presents gobbled up the student seats at non-discount prices. I don't blame NYCB for making as much money as they can, but it's still kind of disappointing. I guess I will go back to the stay at home and pamper myself plan after all.
