Just as I'm all ready to get exciting about the start of Spring Training, the Trade of the Century (thus far) hits, and I'm forced to listen to/read story upon story about the latest development for the gluttinous Yankee syndicate. (And I say that knowing full well that, living ten minutes out of the Bronx, I'm taking my own life in my hands.) Now, I am not the world's most vicious Yankee hater, but there's gotta be something wrong with a $200 million plus payroll. Not to mention the horrifying sight of possibly the best shortstop in several generations making a permanent switch to third. I'm not going to hop on the Jeter bashing wagon and say he should make the switch, either. I'm a shortstop aficionado, and Jeter isn't a bad one, despite what Aaron Gleeman says.

I have to go to a meeting now, so there will be no moaning and groaning over last night's Bedlam embarrasment. (Although, I can gloat about how I knew OSU was good before any of the so-called experts did.)
