Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (0) Just as I'm all ready to get exciting about the start of Spring Training, the Trade of the Century (thus far) hits, and I'm forced to listen to/read story upon story about the latest development for the gluttinous Yankee syndicate. (And I say that knowing full well that, living ten minutes out of the Bronx, I'm taking my own life in my hands.) Now, I am not the world's most vicious Yankee hater, but there's gotta be something wrong with a $200 million plus payroll. Not to mention the horrifying sight of possibly the best shortstop in several generations making a permanent switch to third. I'm not going to hop on the Jeter bashing wagon and say he should make the switch, either. I'm a shortstop aficionado, and Jeter isn't a bad one, despite what Aaron Gleeman says.
I have to go to a meeting now, so there will be no moaning and groaning over last night's Bedlam embarrasment. (Although, I can gloat about how I knew OSU was good before any of the so-called experts did.) Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
